What this application is

Gift County Shop Analytics is a private, single-user analytics tool built and operated by the owner of the Etsy shop GiftCountyShop. It is used solely to analyse that owner's own Pinterest advertising and organic pin performance, in order to understand which campaigns and pins lead to sales.

It is not a product, not a service offered to anyone else, and has no users other than the shop owner. There is no sign-up, and no third party can access it.

What data it accesses

Using read-only Pinterest API scopes, and only for the account that explicitly authorises it:

• Advertising analytics — spend, impressions, clicks and outbound clicks, by campaign and pin
• Organic pin analytics — impressions, saves and outbound clicks
• Basic account and board information needed to identify which pins the figures belong to

What it does not do

• It does not create, edit, publish or delete pins, boards or ads
• It does not access data belonging to any other Pinterest account
• It does not collect data about Pinterest users, viewers or customers
• It does not use cookies, trackers or analytics of its own
• It does not sell, share, transfer or disclose any data to third parties

Where the data goes

Data retrieved from the Pinterest API is written to local files on the shop owner's own computer and is used only for internal analysis. Nothing is published, uploaded to a third-party service, or made available to anyone else. Access tokens are stored locally with owner-only file permissions.

Retention and deletion

Retrieved data is kept only as long as it is useful for analysis and can be deleted at any time by deleting the local files. Authorisation can be revoked at any time from Pinterest account settings, which immediately ends the application's access.
